Berkley Fireline as tippet material?
I was wondering if I could use Berkley Fireline 8 pounds. as a cape. Its size is 4X or apprx 0007. I would like to join a leader tapered to 3X. The color of the smoke. Bought about 6 lb Fireline crystal. Its size is 5X or apprx. 0006. Will this work Fireline. I love him because of his strength.
I would certainly think so. I used both the smoke and the crystal with great results. It is certainly safe. I used crystal when shaking for walleye success.
