Is it legal to own a crossbow in North Carolina, or is it just illegal to hunt big game in NC?
I have a 50lb crossbow, from what I understand, this is a toy, so I want something larger, say 100-180lb. Since I’m not disabled I need to know if I can fish with it, and hunt squirrels, rabbits, and such. I think that big game hunting is illegal. Any info you can give is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
Bowfishing is restricted by dates and species and fishing bow, not cross bow.
Most other uses are for regular bow seasons and game but for use by those handicapped in a manner that they may still use it safely but can not use regular bow.
